a bride in ruffles

A little Milwaukee wedding I found by surprise on flickr.
Ruffles Ruffles, love you lots although not always easy to pull off, however, I think this bride looks radiant.
My favorite part about this wedding besides the sweet looking couple is the cityscape, almost looks like a European city, who knew!

I'm plotting and planning, as I write this post, how I can convince A. we need to organize a trip to London Pronto!

go prom night

going prom night on your bridesmaids? (see yesterday's post here)
why not join them?
a wrist corsage could be a chic alternative to the traditional bridal bouquet (not to mention budget friendly)
as long doesn't resemble the one you wore to your high school prom
orchids anyone?
(need visual? refer to photo above)

venetian masks

No tacky New Year's Eve accessories.
Instead, elegant black and white venetian masks.
Think Truman Capote's famous black and white ball

wedding portraits

Off center, an unusual composition for a bridal portrait that really works. Don't be afraid to break the "traditional" pose, mix it up. My advice, get a few traditional snaps to satisfy the need but break the wedding photography cookie cutter mode find a photographer with a unique vision. Here are a few of my favorites to gather inspiration.

sunday morning with woody allen

some sunday favorites:
rain and snuggling up with a book
cooking all day in the kitchen
playing scrabble with my mom
and watching old woody allen flicks.
yesterday watched "stardust memories" while sipping away my morning cafe.
so delightful.
but now it's monday.
I'm crawling into bed.
waiting for it to be sunday again.
is it here yet?
