rushed home today from work to catch Obama's inauguration.
sitting on my livingroom floor in Milan, glued to cnn watching O gracefully take on his new role.

vintage alberta ferretti

I'm on a on a rampage with red carpet this week, yikes!
But I must confess, I just adore watching those little starlets strutting along the big red all dolled up, don't you? So I couldn't resist sharing this beautiful, vintage, Alberta Ferretti dress that actress Alice Braga wore at the 2008 venice film festival.

Buon Anno/Happy New Year

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!
A. and I are back in Milan after a long and relaxing visit with my family in the states.
Caught a glimpse of the golden globe awards very early this morning, thanks to my never ending jet lag
and can't get over how beautiful this J.Mendel dress on Elizabeth Banks.
How perfect would this dress be for a New Year's Eve bride?
1940's or 30's hollywood glam....
