loving this designer's tribute t-shirt for "love potion N°9, originally sung by the the clovers. also makes for a great toe tapping addition to your reception so make sure it's on your music list!

I thought I share a little news with you all....... do you remember Giacomo and Paola's magical Italian villa wedding? well this little wedding has been picked up and featured on the glamour blog, Smitten, a fabulous blog about weddings and relationships written by the talented, Joanna Goddard. Also, be sure to check out her beautiful design blog, Cup of Jo (it's one of my daily reads)
growing up on the east coast, summer was all about running around barefoot in the backyard, playing in the tide pools at our towns beachand riding the ferry to see my grandparents in their summer escape from the city.
climbing trees. roller skating. collecting mini frogs and lighting bugs. inspecting the sea creatures and seaweed and collecting shells. eating ice cream, hamburgers and corn on the cob. rainy days spent playing card games or drawing. no t.v. rule on our house, only movie night and which was usually a disney movie, Freaky Friday,Swiss Family Robinson, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang... oh how delightful it was. how did you spend your summer as a child?
this rhubarb pie makes for a perfect summer sweet. anyone have a good recipe?
um hello, is this not outrageous! Artist, Annie Morris created this clothespin dress for Christopher Bailey creative director of Burberry. I think there could be a "dress off" between this dress and the peacock dress I wrote about here. don't you think? (source another magazine, summer\spring 2007)

the stunning claudia cardinale show's off her dancing skills below
how stylish is this party scene from the film, "Il magnifico cornuto"
Claudia and Telly Savalas dancing in the film, "Escape to Athena". I think all men should dance with their ladies like this. it's just plain HOT. i've had the pleasure of witnessing the real thing on the little island we escape to during the summer, and let me tell you, it's kinda sexy to watch. Hot i tell you. just plain HOT.
vintage inspired headband by designer, jennifer ouellette. i'm sure you've seen them around, say on GG's burnette vixen, blair? um. yeah. i confess, i'm an xoxo watcher. i know, i know but i had to see, what all the fuss was about and now i'm addicted. my hub walks around saying"xoxo" making fun or just plain cute. hey, i know there are some closet watchers out there. confess.
check out this dapper little couple. love their style. And my favorite part, the venue. the unique montauk club in park slope, brooklyn. vintage perfect makes me miss brooklyn. (found via 100 layer cake photography from weddings by two)
these vintage place cards could also be used as cards for bridal gifts. They would certainly make any brown paper package look oh so fancy, don't you think?
um..... took a break from working on a project, to well, procrastinate. It's too easy to click here and there and before you know your deep into the blogsphere, lost and pulled away from your daily responsibilities.
